If anyone on this planet of ours who so deserves some kind of an award it has to be this man he does not know the difference between soul,funk or disco,who the hell gives a cuss,what he does know and in shedloads is the ability to motivate to inspire and to bring in all of us the one thing we have in plenty,Our Voice in Song,and for that reason Gareth is and will always be a man who has that magic to do what he does,Military "Wives Choir got the top slot at Christmas,over 500,000 CDs sold??

Congratulations Gareth, you are an inspiration. Please don't lose your wonderful humility with the fame that is coming your way. You have a gift that is helping people to connect with music in a very personal way... by giving us confidence to open our mouths to send that music soaring, lifting lives out of depression and fear of the unknown.

He's pretty much my ideal in terms of a teacher. Every kid should have someone like that in their school and it's incredibly sad that they don't.
