i wouldnt want to comment much...but the truth is yes manipur has been poorly ignored by the indian government....its just painful to hear some of the news which dont even get reported to the central news....the indian government has ignored the situations in manipur deeply

Indian Government has repeatedly urged the UNLF for ceasefire and peace talks. But the UNLF has refused since they want a plebicite and seperation. These demands are obviously not acceptable. Hence talks have not happened. Please get your facts right!

Anyone who kills innocents are terrorists including MLA.

tht might be true... but my question is why isn't the indian government ready for talks.the UNLF hav already stated tht they r ready to talk for peace wit the government... then why is the indian government not accepting, don't they want peace here...????
-
King Prabodhchandra was not stupid, he merged his kingdom with India to save Manipur from Nagaland and Myanmar.I think any rational Manipuri wil never support UNLF or free Manipur,as Manipur is already free.
-
Its wrong if army have those rights. But my question to all Manipuris is,why they(UNLF) are demanding an independent nation and creating unrest??Do u think small Manipur can survive, with countries like Mayanmar,Bangladesh as neighbours.
-
@mayangluvne ur talking bout rights... then answer dis why is the armed forces special powers act established only in dis part.thrs violence in other part of the country also.why only here.and if you don't know bout the act it allows army personnel to shoot first and ask questions later.
Small correction in your history uncle:
In 1891 AD, after the defeat of the Meiteis by the British in the Anglo-Manipuri war of Khongjom, Manipur's sovereignty for more than three millenniums was lost. It regained its freedom on August 28, 1947 AD but did not last long. On 15 October 1949, Manipur was annexed into the Indian Territory. Sport is our blood because Ningthou Kangba who invented horse polo (Sagol-Kangjei) for the first time in Manipur in or before 34 BC to the world.
