Let me take a shot at what that guy was talking about, I think he was saying that at some point soon (most likely in the next few 100 years, or 100 minutes, who knows?) that humans and animals will get some punishment, most likely the end. But like some people have been saying, no one alive (besides God of course) knows when the world will end.

Yeah if the world was really going to end it would have ended in the year 2000, it ends when it ends, long as I have a big fat juicy burger, my favorite television show, my woman, next to me while we enjoy the comet then all's' well, oh and that's not necessarily in that order lol.

Everyone's so scared about 2012 and the world ending, but they fail to realise that the end of the world has been predicted (wrongly) 4 times already.
