I don't believe anyone is going to completely get sin out of their life. it is going on willfully in sin, sin that is committed in accident no one can help. If you go on lying, cheating and stealing is what he is referring to. Many people that believe as you do David believbe that I can still cheat my customers because it isn't me doing it, it's the flesh. I'm saved, my flesh just can't help it. That's what we talk about when we say you must quit sinning.

Salvation does not depend on us ceasing from sin, its depends on us obeying Gods command to believe on his Son for eternal life, after salvation we grow as babes in Christ and learn how 2serve, falling along the way with God chastising us through his word teaching us and bringing us to maturity.You won't put off the flesh until the day of redemption when your given a brand new glorified sinless body as your flesh nor your blood can enter heaven only your soul that has been separated frm ur flesh

Remember, you are the corrupted fallen tree who stems from the root of Adams sin and therefore in your flesh its is imposable for you 2produce any righteous fruit (works) of your own that would be worthy of you 2be put in right standing with God, so even before or after we are saved we do not put our faith in us producing any righteous fruit in our flesh, there for by FAITH we are placed in to the tree of Life Jesus who produces righteous fruit true us as we rest in him and cease from our works

Paul declared he was a saved sinner chief and least of the brethren, he spoke about the war in his flesh of how he tried to do good but at the same time saw the evil in his flesh and cried out but who will saved me from this body of death, and he thanked Jesus Christ... You see Paul knew was saved.. He knew that in his flesh he had nothing to offer God but he was resting by FAITH in the perfect saving work of Jesus, He was justified by his FAITH in Jesus therefore he had PEACE with God.

Because you are a child of God you can not be unborn but you can grow on the milk of the word and then move on 2maturity as God works in your heart.. You renew your minds wash it with the word of God plus you must learn to obey God and rightly divide his word... Being a child is about learning to cease from the works in your flesh, learning to cease from trying to please God with works done in your flesh and resting in Jesus saving work the only work that satisfied Gods demand 4 perfect Justice
