Say Forever. 33

Well isn't this a surprise? Did you guys think I was gone forever? I sure did! I'm truly sorry that it took me so long to update. Just a lot has been going on in my life right now. Once things get settled down I'll be sure to post more often. Hopefully it won't be too long before I post again. Thank you for all your patients I'm truly thankful to have you reading still.


"I'm telling you now Nick, love is one of the most difficult things out there. It seems as if no one is ever going to figure it out but isn't that the best part of love? How completely unpredictable it is." For the past three hours I had listened to Taylor go on and on about love. Was love really that great to be obsessing over? To fight for? I already knew all of those answers. Yes. Yes love was the most precious thing in the whole entire world. You only ever get to experience your first love and if you're lucky your first would also be your last. That feeling you get when you catch a glimpse of them or how clammy your hands seem to get when you share a kiss. "There's a reason why we only have one heart Nick, it's waiting for that one special person to come with its other partner."

"Taylor, I get what you're saying I do. I honestly do but, it gets really tiring to keep fighting for someone who is always fighting against you." For the first time in during the whole entire flight Taylor said nothing. I sat there in an uncomfortable silence already missing her annoying banter about love. "If you love her as much as you claim then it's going to be worth the fight. Look, we get off in Jersey and you have two choices; one you could get on your next flight and leave everything behind and never get the chance with her again or two you could come with me and we will both fly back to Texas and win back the girl of your dreams."

"What if she wants nothing to do with me?" I heard her let out an annoyed sigh as she turned to me with a determined look on her face. "What if? Is that really what you have to ask? Those are the two most annoying words ever put together! Look Nick, I'm not forcing you to come back with me but I'm doing my absolute best to help you in any way that I can. What if the sky was purple? What if the sand on the beaches where actually little turtles? What if one day you look back on your past and regret not ever fighting hard enough for the one girl that made you happy?"

"Please fasten your seatbelts we will be landing In New Jersey shortly."

"All I'm saying is you can't go through life wondering what if, because those two words will have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life. If it feels right just do it don't hold back because you're scared of all the what if's in life."

As I said my goodbyes to Taylor as I walked in the opposite direction to my gate. All my life I had wanted what all those chick flick movies had; the perfect relationship. It would be a while before my plane would even begin to start boarding, it felt like it had been years since the last time I saw Selena. It was as if my head was telling me that I needed to back to her as soon as I could. But I just couldn't I couldn't keep on fighting if all that was going to happen was me being turned down the umpteenth time.
