What happens with the Elements songs is that it's like a story, each can represent different stages of the script of a love story or personal crisis, each different states of mind and tempo, and it's gorgeously expressed in music and lyrics, not to mention each of distinctive style and original. Second Person is one hell of a group.

these guys have such beautiful music it makes my heart ache. The only thing I don't like about this song is that it's too short.

@makaloglog123 Meh. I'm a yin metal ram.

@thekkl There's no air in the Chinese elements. Instead of elements going against one another like in Western philosophy, the Chinese see elements as "stages" like "wood feeds fire, fire creates earth (ash)" etc.
The closest thing to air in the five Chinese elements is Wood. Which is my fav song from Second Person. :P

The only reason there's no air is because the songs are based on the Chinese Elements. :]
So their really was no air or wind. :]
I love this song. :D My favorite so far is Fire.

Er. How do you find out what your elements are? Is it one of those 20 question things on some site or something?
Anyways, I love this song, not only is her voice so unique but the sound in the background is so soothing!

my element ise ice, hands down :]
I am curious. Why are the elements based on mythical Chinese elements? Or is it just a consequance?

you mean coincidence.
I'm not really sure. I suppose they chose it because it makes more sense to put at least 5 songs on the CD.
I'm not really sure, why not ask them? They have a youtube account.

this is just beautiful. incredible emotion, incredible lyrics, and perfectly produced.
if you guys want the songs, why not buy the album? you have a stake in the artist's success.

Well from sellaband ,com you can download 3 of the songs for free and it's legal. *shrug* and earth and fire are only 50 cents each. I don't see much of a point in speding 10 dollars for the album when most people use ipods, cellphones, and mp3 plays anyways.

@invaderjupitor The point is, it looks like their third (or second) album might not get made/released without a good deal of money, and spending that extra money gives them a little extra to work with. Besides, isn't it worth ten bucks? You can always rip that album you buy and get higher quality digital copies, which is an additional incentive.

@calypto1 I mean the physical album, the physical CD. I don't even have a CD player and once I have the files I don't really have a need for the CD anymore. Now there are some albums I'd buy because of the art or context, but generally I prefer buying just the files. They're the same quality even if they're not from a physical disk.
