I maid something like this but i get double hits its way to sensitive. I even used the tuning program to turn down sensitivity it did not help. so i am not sure how to fix it.

If you want it to look like the real GH pedal you can just cut the shap of it. Because i personally think he made his too thick but it's still awesome

thats actually what i ended up doing in the end. it'll work better in that case, use a 1/4" screw so it doesnt go through the wood
