they always put reverb on the voices of the singers in these neo sufi songs now heehee
-
what does shaman paiyan mean?
-
this is not about similarity of voices, but the composition he has learned from his uncle... and he aded his own skills definitly. i know rufi, he belongs to my city. but he hasnt shown himslef thats y he hasnt got recognition. no doubbt he has very awsom voice..... but he wasted himself singing songs like... HUM HAIN GUNJAY DUNIYA JAAN LAY...... who is going to remember hime very long for just singing such songs or of nusrat songs repeatedly......

imagine NUSRAT FATEH ALI KHAN saab in coke studio...it would have been absolutely psychedelic...much respect from india...

It's music to my ears. And I don't know anything about it except that I love it.

love this track
SUBHANALLAH :)
no disrespect to the great rahat fatehali khan, i understand that he is the nephew of the legendary NFK but i believe that his voice doesnt resemble that of his late uncle's as much as Naeem abbas rufi's. although i believe that rahat fateh ali khan is a much more talented and dare i say it better singer, im just giving my opinion on sound similarity, but its sad that naeem abbas rufi didnt get the recognition that i thought he deserved. once again, no disrespect to rahat fateh ali khan at all:)
