The voice actors were great, but the movie was underwhelming. I had huge expectations since I've read the books since I was a kid, but I feel as though if the story were fixed up a bit so it wasn't so reliant on swinging between regular dialogue and completely over-the-top action sequences, and more importantly, if they'd used non motion-capture animation in favor of a simpler, more stylized one (like Herge's clear line art style) the movie would have been stronger.
