my parents say i used to go into convulsions when i was a baby, and turn blue from not breathing. dont know why. .. and i dont doubt it but its pretty damn scary thinking back about it 20 years later..

Convulsions triggered by fever are typically harmless....they do not result into death nor they result in brain damage. Just let the child lie down on her side...or comfortably...then appy tepid water.... after 10 minutes or less....they usually are conscious again...give them acetaminophen.
