How to convert an Avi into Gif in 4 steps

1)Open Virtual Dub
2)Drag the avi inside it(or File/Open etc)
3)File/Export/Gif
4)Put a file name and it's loop options.
Done :D
You can edit it later with a gif editor.

I followed the steps but the gifs come out really slow when I view them.

@kaosblarrg that is an eventuality it happens...fast way to do it: before converting it, go to "Video" then "frame rate" then you multiply the number of original frame rate. example, if the video is 30fps, try 60 or 90 :)
