  • Hola,

I take it your name is dash.. anyway, I bought an Evo Shift and I'd like to use another carrier. I already have a way of getting an unlock code. So I guess my question is how much do I have to pay or ( donate) in order to download and use this software? Also what other phone companies will I be allowed to switch to once I've flashed my phone?

  • @naynaychicka all of this shown is free but this wont allow you to change your carrier. this is hardspl unlock which unlocks you so you can flash custom roms to your device... bascially it unlocks the phones bootloader and not the phone itself.

  • What's the wallpaper on the PC? That's cool.

  • @WorldHF thats a hitman hd wallpaper that i got from google images

  • All installed well however i now have no internet ....do i need sprint specific files

  • @fcs1965 your should work fine, did you flash a custom rom to it afterwards? all this does is give you the option for a custom rom. after you flash the rom you will want to install the carrier cab for your service provider.

  • @g3ra912 you want to do it just as i did and thats before the flash to clear everything out....

  • I mean the first boot up of a rom is the set up, which is like a hard reset isn't it? So it wasn't really necessary to do a hard reset?

Did you do a hard reset before flashing? Did you hard reset the previous rom before flashing?

  • I have a question. Is the hard reset required after flashing the new rom? Why?

Do you hard reset before or after first time ROM use? Can you do it after with the same results? (I think you did it before first time ROM use.)?

What if you hard reset the stock rom before flashing, will the step be needed?

Will it boot up the new rom even if you do not hard reset?

I mean before I flashed my rom I ran task 29, but I skipped the hard reset step.

Please answer all questions. Message me if needed.
