RIP Alexander McQueen

He was such an inspiration and such a creative genius.

His work inspired me and so many other people and i'm so sad he's no longer with us.

I was looking forward to his next show, but that'll never happen.

Another legend is gone.

No Michael Jackson, No Gianna Versace,No lady Diana, and now no more new designs from this creative abyss,Its a sad sad world we live in where our good people are taken from us but assholes come and remain in power. He was one of the greatest artists in the world. The UK should be proud they had someone 20 years ahead of his time. Amazing how he put fashion into the future.

@Byteme4real Can u imagine the PRESSURE of having to outdo yourself season after season? How WOULD you outdo these clothes? I never knew how brilliant he was till after he died. No one comes close. We're not worthy to even see these clothes. It;s like they were made for gods, not people. That might sound silly and melodramatic but this stuff was just too good. Too good.

I'm still completely awestruck by this collection, I remember when I first saw it my jaw dropped and I just stared at the computer screen like that up until the end. I'm so curious as to see what Sarah Burton has done for this Spring and Summer. I'm looking forward to it, but still knowing that NOTHING in the world could ever top this.
