24th April 2010
retiring OzJet 737 lands at Jandakot ligh airport to be used as a static trainer for aircraft maintenance section of TAFE.
Pilot was required to land at higher touch down speed to lesson the impact on the barely rated suitable Jandakot landing strip. Word was they were instructed to reverse thrust beyond normal operating perameters to enable the shortish stop, however as youll see, the pilot had no probs :)
I wanted too see this but never new what day it was going to land *huffs*

You might want to rename and change the details of your video.
It's a ex Ozjet Boeing 737-200.

As others have already mentioned, this is a 737-200 series. Not to matter though, thankyou for posting the video for us all to enjoy. Your son is an up and coming aviation enthusiast! I remember my father taking me to various airports as a kid - your son will have fond memories of these special moments shared with you also.
