Each day, 2,000 children under the age of 15 become infected with HIV/AIDS.

ChicBlvd.com and Hintmint.com are partnering with Compassion International and Youth Aids to create awareness throughout the country--and are doing so in a creative way!

The campaign is called "Carry a Tin for AIDS Awareness." We will be releasing 50 mint tins on December 1st, 2006 to selected ChicBlvd readers, including established celebrities. Each person will take a mint and pass it to the next person until it reaches the Youth Aids center in Washington DC.

Experiences, personal stories, up-to-date announcements and celebrity involvement will be documented at www.chicblvd.com/aids and www.myspace.com/carryatin4aids.

For each tin that reaches the center, individual pledge amounts will be given to Compassion International and Youth Aids to help fight AIDS, a pandemic infecting our world's children.
