  • Mann oh man these kids daddy could blow as well. he did a song call what about your wife. Good post POSTER

  • @oldschoolbass Larry also told me that Keni and Jermaine Jackson are thee ONLY ones that come close to emulating his bass style

  • Greetings, I have tried to find this items as an mp3 for a very long time... Didn't make the connection to Ooh, Child, but knew about Preston, but not Harrison... go figure... 'guess I can play the 'Old People Card'

  • @GPT719 this album was released on Dark Horse records.....the label was started by George Harrison

  • Sounds like Graham...

  • Great song thanks for posting

  • @XSGAME4U Not so. Funkadelic emerged C.1970, this was released in 1976. One of the best albums of a very great musical year, IMO.

  • @blueman2bass Louis had LG down cold. Louis picked it up on his own. The difference between Keni's style of play from Louis's was...Like Larry, Keni rode his thumb on that bottom E and kept a rhythmic basis for the total sound. Larry foundation is a "1-3-5 blues style of play" Keni is hte same. If you listen to keni's bassline in Mary J Blige's "Be Happy" Keni's octave attack is what brings him closer to Larry's flavor of play and at the time they both used Rotosounds
