Independence Is No Solution was written by Thomas Sehl who writes music as Schorsch Kamerun. Sylvester Boy was the electro-punk persona of Thomas Sehl that released the track on the album Monsters Rule This World.
Steve Kado aka The Blankkett did a cover on his recent Pegatively Nositive album.
As the Final Fantasy version bears more resemblence to the Kado cover that the original, it would seem it is a cover of a cover.
