Our friend Billy claims that this is how you say "i'm hungry" in mandarin Chinese. We were a little skeptical to say the least. Can any chinese speaking people out there tell us if he is right? Thanks.

  • Diu Ni :D

  • 太好玩了!

  • haha well.. good try... close enough..

  • ㅋㅋㅋ저렇게 하기도 쉽진않을텐데.ㅋ

  • hes right but a little off

  • It's not "wa" it's "wǒ". He's not far off, though... and there are other ways of saying it, like "wǒ dùzi è". I have to admit that the sounds he's making are funny. Is Billy single?

  • Actually, yes, he said it correctly, although clearly making it sounds worse than it is. to be hungry = e (with forth tone), so "I'm hungry" = wo3 e4 le5

  • i asked the chinese guy who i sit next to at work and he didnt sound anything like this

and he said i say thank you right
