As usual BBC messed it up so many people i know watched it, we were proud america could never do this we had something unique and you would think that we would keep it .......but beeb messed up again and stopped making them! They should at least asked the paying audience. Any way...... I wonder how long Doctor who has got before some dumbass beeb mgr thinks of stop making them.

@zargoffkain Actually, the USA version had some promise, although casting a tall handsome guy as Lister was a bonehead move... Don't get me wrong, Red Dwarf USA could never have held a candle to the original, but since they had Robert reprising his Kryten role, and another Brit as Holly,... PLUS, Jane Leeves was GORGEOUS, it would have been a treat. And in one clip I saw, she seemed to go sexy with it, something that would have made me like this role better than her soon-after role on Frasier.

@blenderpanzi If you have/get the Red Dwarf DVDs, many of them have clips of the audiobooks on them as a bonus feature on the Bonus Features disc (at least, the North American DVDs do, just finished rewatching all 8 seasons). I think maybe only the early seasons, maybe season 3/4/5 or so. Amazon would tell you which ones have Audio Book Chapters.
