he did not wanted to realize were it was going in the end. I guess you had to be in the inner circle to get an idea. Very sad but he was and is the greatest singer ever no doubt

@matizzle32 "Understanding" has NOTHING to do with it. I watched the downward spiral and on hindsight, it was bad. I was in denial at the time. Elvis today would look at some of these pictures posted of him and be very upset. He was a proud man. He loved to look his best. Im guessing he was in a bit of denial himself. Sorry you didn't get what you expected from me, but I have always felt this way about the pictures of a bloated Elvis. I feel he would would want the world to see him at his best

Just know these pictures of Elvis on stage are not of Vegas on stage in December '76. I was there. These are from road tours and not on the Vegas stage In fact a few of these less than flattering pictures could have been left off this video..

He could sing anything.

He was such a perfectionist, restarting My Way.
