FFXI Wings of the Goddess Mission - The Will of the World

Karinastar and Lilisette return to San d'oria, where they go to speak with Ragelise. Unfortunately, Ragelise seems to have no memory of them. He does remember Portia and that she has been taken captive however, and seems to be well. Distraught, Karinastar and Lilisette leave the castle, where Lilisette sinks against a tree, upset that not even her own father remembers her. Meanwhile, in the castle Ragelise is approached by a knight, who poses to him questions about his objectives. What is more important to him? The war, or Portia? And should Portia die, would it be worth it? The knight has one suggestion as the scene fades.

Meanwhile, Karinastar does her best to encourage Lilisette. Her words make Lilisette feel a little better, and the three review what they know about Lilith and the situation. They resolve to do something to stop Lilith's future from coming to pass. Meanwhile, though Lilith tells her Spitewardens to make ready for war...


Well, that's it for this set of missions. To be continued... in like 6 months probably. These CSes were pretty epic though, and the animation was great!

@RydiaMist Oh my gog I found it! It's called Summers Lost, and was released only three days ago on the soundtrack FFXI Original Soundtrack Plus.

This is so wonderful! Five months later I'd find out, what where the chances?

Thank you very much for putting up these cutscene videos. I hope once the next batch of missions and cutscenes come out, you'll be able to put those up too. I'm going to subscribe to you. I would do the missions myself as I'm only still on WoTG 8, but I plan on quitting FFXI this month and would like to watch the storyline of WoTG. The story is looking good so far.

Thank you so much for uploading these! I've been biting at the ankles of every update and can't seem to get enough of this story. I'm literally hanging on to ffxi just to find out what happens in this fabulous storyline. Well, and of course all the quest storylines too...but the missions are so compelling.

Yes, thanks for posting these. I had beaten everything in XI up to mid-way through WoTG, but retired to finish college. I miss the storyline so much. Look forward to the ending, thanks. :)
