This still rates very near the top of my list of the 10 best Ghost Stories put on film. The acting is terrific, the special effects, all pre CGI are exceptional, and the story, the idea of which came to Spielberg from the Twilight Zone episode "Little Girl Lost' is wonderfully executed. The one thing I hate about, is people coming here say9ing that film was the MOST scariest Shit ever because it was produces by Speilberg. SImply because he did ET ! GET A LIFE ! IT AINT SCARY AT ALL !

This is one of the most brilliant scary films to date since the Exorcist
and Halloween. All thanks to Tobe Hooper and Steven Speilberg.
