LateBlt, if you do play QFG 5 will you show the alternate weddings between the four or five women you can marry? I admit I prefer Katrina to Erana because you only meet Erana in you dreams and as a spirit. You actually can feel Katrina (chest).

I don't like badly-rendered 3D models, nor do I like the engine it uses. That kind of engine only worked well for Grim Fandango, and that was just a fluke.

Wait wat? I was under the impression that the Resulka was Erana...

The Rusalka is a relatively minor character who I don't think has any relevance to the game other than a side quest.

@hercrabbiness Erana is awesome. A better question: why the Katrina love? She's a woman who was planning to basically destroy the world purely so that she wouldn't need to hang out inside during the daytime, and she was planning on converting the hero to a vampire after the success of her plan. She's a self-centered, ruthless piece of garbage. Erana, meanwhile, sacrificed herself to save the world.

That's not a hard choice.

You said aerobatics was useless, but actually at the blood ritual i found it useful.. My dude just flipped up the platform to push down the rock, no grapel hook required! Then flipped back down! Saved time pacing back and forth trying to use the grapnel xD

Oh crap, I didn't realize you could hit the shortcut key to restore during the losing sequence since the menu is unavailable.

I found that you have much less time to deal with Ad Avis if you save after Katrina is gone. Once I went back to the save before climbing up, it was much easier to win.

Sorry, but for Erana being supposedly known to be beautiful, she doesn't to me. The exotic features are a bit too inhuman. Then again, in QfG5 she looks too plain and human...

I would hope you DIDN'T do QFG5. It's enough of an insult that they used awkward 3D models, but they made the interface stupid. Accessing the inventory is a bit more complicated, and you have this silly shortcut system... it's like playing Runescape, except even LESS fun.

Incidentally, the CD version of Quest for Glory 4 has a patch that fixes the Ad Avis glitch. But you probably already knew that.

This is hilarious. I remember all the trouble I had getting this game to work properly, especially that tomb place by the swamp. But at least I had no problems with this part.

I think the final save name fits very well, considering why you keep having to use it.
