The Cargil "Tree Of Life" Tower
By James August Warsing Jr. & Greg Ballou
The Cargil Tower is The largest structure in the Downtown Harrisonburg, Va. area. This tower can be seen for many mailes in every direction, day or night.
However, the tower is a dull tan color that has been worn over the years.
Local Master Artists Greg Ballou (www.balloustudio.com) & James August Warsing Jr. (www.MrEtchings4U.com) developed an amazing concept mural that has caught the eye of every single person that has seen this presentation.
The "Tree Of Life" mural features a full canopy tree with a tree housee system and children at play. At night the tree houses light up as lights from the tower windows (worked into the design) emit a glow through the treehouse windows.
The entire Tree Of Life is suspended in air hovering over the Shen. Vallety with the Blueridge Mountains in the distance.
This project would employ over 75 people (some volunteers) and would take an estimated 30 months to complete, making it the 4th largest mural in the world.
Comments Appretiated. (And yes I noticed after the fact that in one text slide there is a typo, Harridonburg = Harrisonburg)
