U4EA is a 22 foot long, 13" in diameter, 150lb rocket that we launched at Fire in the Sky 2009 in Mansfield Washington. It was built by Michael Dennis, Mike Wyvel, Dave Randall, and Scott Berfield. It flew to 2100 feet on a cluster of 4 54mm J250 Skidmark motors plus a central experimental 98mm N2700 motor. This video is from an Oregon Scientific ATC2K "helmet camera" mounted on the outside of the rocket. Note that the apparent tube ripple is actually the camera vibrating.

  • Wow, and I thought that that huge thing strapped to your RV was just for show. Too bad I wasn't there on Friday to see it.
