inside my Bodum Granos... this leak keeps it from getting proper pressure to make a good shot... getting a replacement part is not possible, i need to somehow seal this leak - a seal that must withstand around 15 bars of pressure and nearly boiling water...

  • well, sort of... I got some "Loctite Waterproof Epoxy Putty" from the plumbing section of Home Depot and patched the leaks with that... but, either i haven't been able to get every point of leakage (for instance, underneath, which is very inaccessible) or it hasn't held a perfect seal and that's where the occasional dribble is coming from... but, it is better than it was... you may get better results...

  • I had the same problem with Granos but I was lucky that it was under guarantee. I will keep your tip if it will happen again. The first leak happened during the first year, now I am in the 4th year and it hasn't happened again.

  • i have exactly same problem with our granos. Did you solve your problem ?
