My son putting a saddle on this mare & riding her. Frisco is now for sale as a green broke mare. Her price is $1500.00. As you can see, she does ride, she is easy to catch, bathe, tie, saddle, clip and wonderful about getting her feet done as shown in another video. This mare does have a wicked scar on her rear leg along the cannon BUT as shown in the video with my son riding her, the leg does not hamper her movements. It looks as though she was kicked in the leg and the wound was never tended to...the previous owner only knows that it happened at the location she was boarding in while the mare was out in the pasture. According to the doc, it is cosmetic. Proud flesh covers the area and I have been working on that area to clean it up. She has had 1 foal in 2008 and has been used as a brood mare since 2007 when she was exposed to the foal's sire, AKS Rip Tide. We never bred her back due to the horse market and the uncertain economic future. I have owned her since Oct 2008, she has had a saddle on her once, in Nov 2008. Today is the first day she has been rode in a long time. It will take time to turn her into a trail mount, she does not have the conformation to be a show horsel. She is gentle but pushy with those that will let her get away with it. She has great blood lines and a great attitude.
