Oscar = Gold medal winner and great pro career. Fought everyone and gave youngsters a chance to get paid. Real fighter. Better than most in that regard.

oscar has been one of the greatest boxers there have been. He also is a good person and has fought all the good and difficult boxers there were in his moment. It's a pity he has retired. Thank you Oscar you are great!

oscar delahoya is the biggest overated piece of shit in boxing ,he should have retired in 99 after the trinidad fight ,he kept fighting for money because he beleived in his own hype ,a self absorbed boxer who was promoted by HBO ,got a lot of high profile fights because he was the poster child for boxing promoters but when the time came to show who he was he lost every fight one after the other ,its sad that those who dont know boxing jumped on the phony bandwagon to be a part of fools gold

well regardless of what anyone thought about that fight i say good for oscar, at the end of his career he raises expectations and even if he lost, at least he showed he was worthy of competeing with the best of them, what a genuine fighter.

I think oscar is the best of his era cause he fought everyone. How many guys can say they fought FELIX TRINIDAD, FLOYD MAYWEATHER, MANNY PACQUIAO, BERNARD HOPKINS, FERNANDO VARGAS, IKE QUARTEY, JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ, SHANE MOSLEY, PERNELL WHITAKER , HECTOR CAMACHO AND ARTURO GATTI? and he ony got ko'd twice, to hopkins who was wayy bigger, and to manny who's a beast and oscar was too old to b in the ring with the best. but dam, thats one hell of a resume.
