This shows how to find out you IP Address, SubNet Mask and Default gateway using a command prompt. (cmd)

If you don't know how to get command prompt, watch my video: "how to get a command prompt (cmd) using notepad."

The code used in the cmd is:
ipconfig

  • hey ,, do you know how to know the username of the net user of another computer .....??

  • guys if u wanna shut down another computer then in cmd write down shutdown -i and the rest will be in the dialog that pops up :D

    your subnet mask is 255.255.255.0

    and your default getway is 192.168.0.1

  • whenever i do this exactly it always says 'ipconfig' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. any help? btw im on windows xp too
