didnt know there used to be some fans in dallas...its so dead now
-
@Vash131 The rule book was followed numbnuts.

Sabres fans = bitter. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. Stars won, you lost. We had a few tickets available at game time ? Your zamboni is nicer than ours ? You're cool cause you live closer to Toronto ? Who cares. Have whatever you want, we'll have our Cup. The plate from 1999 will always say "DALLAS STARS" and there's nothing you can do about it. We will soon have a new owner and we will soon be successful again. 12 years is a long time to cry. Get over it.

Reunion Arena FTW

@666bpm Because the only way Buffalo fans could go to a Finals game was to buy tickets that we're still available and fly to Dallas. I don't know how much coverage the Stars got in Dallas the week before the Finals began, but how to get tickets was front page news here in Buffalo. Check out the Buffalo News archives week of June 1st 1999.

@RichV20 In Dallas there are always a few rows of seats left for games prior to puck drop. They are seats that are reserved for staff of either team. If there are any remaining, they release them prior to game. Otherwise every normal fan seat was sold out in Dallas. Why can't people understand this?

@Vash131 hey piss ant? just lost Richards suckers dallas will be extinct from nhl in 5 years..lmao
-
i think the only way that stars hockey ever becomes that popular again is if all the other dallas area teams were doing really lousy. watching this makes me realize how rare a time it was to be a dallas stars hockey fan

There were still seats available up until Game 1 faceoff in Dallas. Whereas Cup tickets in Buffalo sold out in 10 minutes after the Sabres beat the Leafs.
@3sabrfns
