Who ever is against fresh and easy is so stupid. My boyfriend works there and he makes good money, has benefits, and just got a bonus check. Who cares that they're not union, that's THEIR decision. As for all the food that's thrown away, they called a local church and now the food is donated to the homeless. The United Food and Commercial Workers should mind their own business. Funny if you notice, it's mostly the union complaining.

F&E just opened up by me in Riverside. Nice place, decent prices, and no hassle. We have an Albertson's across the street. UFCW is attacking F&E the same way a bully wants you to pay him for protection, because F&E is non-union, but pays well. F&E offers benefits to its employees, UFCW does NOT offer such benefits and pays min. wage to those who stand outside protesting.

This video along with others like it are just scare tactics, and nothing more than imbeciles trying to keep F&E down.

@jmanny1000 Still shop there. I love their prices and their selection. If I just need something in a pinch, I go there. I still buy staple items at Stater Bros. But you can't beat F&E on their specialty items. YUM!!!!

why not go spend the time and try to fix the problems in your community at a meeting rather than complain about the store that will create jobs and bring in more business to the area.

I don't really care about the political implications of Fresh and Easy being owned by a foreign company; their products, prices and service have been completely better than any store in my town.  Except for WinCo which is still the undisputed low price king.

Fresh&Easy is owned by Tesco and Tesco actually encourages its employees to join a Union. And to be honest sk8erking28 it sounds like sour grapes from you, if i where you i would look carefully at the reasons you where sacked.

Fresh&Easy sucks ass! I worked in the DC. Fired for getting hurt on job, looking to fire me anyway because I was supportive of the union. I made $10 hr & they people in other (non union) dc made $13-16 hr for same job. F&E Is a bunch of bullshit. They don't care about the envirement, you, your family, their employees, ect... Stop Shopping there sheep!!!

I work there!! In henderson (green Valley to be exact). It sucks. We need more help. The store is a mess and unorganixed! After July when I get my Pto and Bonus Check I am Going to organize to tear this place down! The UFCW is not perfect but they are a hell of alot better than F&E!!...LEN!!!

This is bogus. A F&E opened up a block from me (walking distance and in L.A.!!) and they don't even sell liquor. There's a Longs Drugs next door, so perhaps that's why (though I've always found it strange that in CA you can buy your booze at the same place you pick up your prescription meds). The prices are competitive at F&E and I've had no problem with the self check-out. Sounds like the big guys are threatened.

I'm not saying Fresh and Easy fixed my dilemna of how overpriced Whole Foods is/how crappy the Produce at Trader Joe's is/how nasty Super A foods is. Because it's kinda in between all these things. But the fact that it's SO close to me, has an OVERsized parking lot (WHOO HOO!) means I better get some REAL dirt on why not to shop there. I get that the whole self-checkout thing bypasses a seemingly powerful union, and I support unions, but still...
