A style I got from Mahoganyknots with my very own changes and variations.
Products I used: Elasta QP Shea Mango Butter Moisturizer, Cantu Shea Butter, Miss Jessie Curly Meringue, ECOstyler Olive Oil Gel.
Before going to bed I just tied my scarf around the sides and left the top open.

If you're using the Eco Styler gel on top of the Cantu, it WILL leave the white stuff. I can only use the Cantu with water...that's ALL. So if I am going to use the Eco Styler or anything else I don't use the Cantu.

thanks for the vid!!! good to know that using those other products on top of the cantu doesn't give u white gunk in ur hair...that hicks edge works best on dry hair though..using the eco on wet hair is the best route like you did

@mahoganyknots thanks, yes i hate the white gunk. I am trying to find another gel it seems EVERY TIME i use the eco it leaves behind the white little white balls if my hair gets wet after it had already dried.

@superblynatural i haven't ever tried to re-wet the eco expect when just washing it out...a lot of folks like the IC Fantasia clear gel as well...and i've heard others use African Pride's clear gel
