Awesome point of view on inside info I would have never learned else where.

Thanks for the upload. You've convinced me that the Gospel of Matthew was originally written in Hebrew, not Greek or Aramaic.

@columkenn I think people aren't really sure how to pronounce YHWH. But calling him YAH seems good. Like HalleluYAH means "Praise YAH".
-
@GeneandCassandra How do you pronounce YWHW??? Is it Yahway or Yahovah, or another?
-
What is the name of GOD. It seems to either YAHOVAH or YAHWAY. These sound quite distinct from each other, so which is it?

Thank you for your study and presentation Nehemia I have just ordered the book!

i love this video. im hoping for a response to this question concerning seating/standing in synagogue. luke 4:16, Jesus stood up to read...Did, or do, the peple in the synangogue stand while for the reading???
He is right that Yeshua should not have been called Jesus in the english because Yeshua is actually Joshua in the english language. That is one reason to referr to Jesus by His Hebrew name Yeshua. There is great power in that name of Yeshua.

The Gospel according to St. Matthew was directed TOWARD the Jews. The hebraisms were intentional. Just like the lineage to show Yeshua's bloodline provided authenticity to Jewish readers. JohnMark's was written first and as we know he had a good relationship with the gentiles. I call Him Yeshua because my relationship with Him has grown closer and closer, but if I say Jesus, He most certainly knows Who I am speaking to. Good teaching and I will share Yeshua HaMashiach wrote Torah in my heart :)
