I'm watching this because I've been watching my DVD but skipping the Turn to Stone and Sweet talking women segments because of the overdub. And I've got a theory! These are the two songs that are obviously overdubbed and Jeff fluffs the words in both. Do you think that might be the reason for these overdubs in the first place. Someone obviously that he was righting a wrong whereas he was doing an enormous disservice.

Remember back in the day this was such a high profile performance and jeff being the perfectionist he is, may not have been happy about mistakes he made, and thus the later overdubs and undeserved bad reputation they got as a result! Its a shame it took nearly 30 years for this to be rectified

To ELOnut...I didn't think I could hear a better version of this song by them. I stand corrected. This remastered version without the backing track is hands down the best. The test of a really good band is how they perform live, and these guys are phenomenal. Thanks for putting these videos up dude!!

Absolutely my favorite song from this concert. Kelly's harmony part on "I gotta get back to you" is a nice extra touch. I get the feeling Jeff really liked playing this; he's really into it (relative to other songs) and he even smiles a bit! Jeff and the gang at the height of their powers....excellence.

@southpawjay Yep, you're correct. The previous version of this perfornance had the backing (studio) track turned up to about a "7" with the actual live music & singing at about a "3" on your volume knob. This remastered version basically reverses that. Those extra vocals you hear are just Jeff from the album version of the song.

Ok Kelly Groucutt is badass. He sings perfect harmonies without ever having to look at his left hand. Awesome fret memory!
