Installed on a snowmobile, this video is of the installation of a 72 LED Cluster (216 individual LED) underglow light kit by Joe-Florida (ledaccentlights.net). Note: Since I posted this they have added more clusters to 90LED but still the same kit.
This kit is designed for motorcycles, but I will be installing it on a 2005 Skidoo GTX snowmobile. It is waterproof, flexible, comes with quick connectors, and a 15 multi-function remote.
These are installation snippets showing placement and discussion of the light components of the Kit.

can I still use it without a battery?

@JTJG94 : You have to have a battery, sled equipped with a rectifier, or make a rectifier yourself.

I used a Deltran Pigtail to the battery, then I used a Deltran 12ft extension that I cut in the middle. On a motorcycle, you would not need the extension I bet. Though by using the extension I can unplug the battery from the LED control box in the summer and trickle charge the battery with a battery tender. The Deltran wires have a red inner sleeve on the power lead so can not mix them up. Solder and shrinkwrap ground to ground, power to fuse, and fuse to control box.

Good video 5/5. I just bought a similar joe-flordia kit for my CBR motorcycle. Your video helped me figure out how the kit works, but.... How did you wire it to your battery source? How was it attached to the battery terminal?

Bro txt'd me to say I missed this one. Deltran Pig tails on the battery. Cut Deltran extension in half and soldered the contro box and fuse to the snipped end of the extension. That way I can disconnect the control box in the summers and plug in my battery tender super easy.
