  • @unviciouscircle Thanks again, you guys rule the cip air. So glad you are sharing.

  • That's Doug Kilmer on bass . He passed away a few years ago. I know he was in a line up of Blue Cheer & Commander Cody. I think he played bass on the Otis Rush

    record Nick produced in 1971.

  • Hey Dave! Somehow this is 'related' to my Merl & Jer Rainforest thing lol; weir always related somehow heh! So that's how i ended up in San Francisco this morning and very glad i did! Gotta hear Anna now; who could ever resist those first few notes?! Not I

  • @nosorog91 yea i'm pretty sure it's 85

  • @1999wharfrat Bobby Vega rocks! Saw him w them a bunch of times, so nice

  • i love john so much ,i have only heard the stuff he did wit h quicksilver from 66 till 71,but im discovering so much more on you tube from late 70s till 89, he never sold out,he kept it true with the music and even in the 80s he never changed an got a mullet,i have always been a bit superfical bout this stuf but the dead, airplane, just went with the 80s, not john, itwas 66,67,68,69,he looked and sounded good in the awful 1980s,I MISS YOU JOHN!!!!

  • 5/22/85 ?

  • @1999wharfrat Yes

  • OK, I recognize John and Nick Gravenites. Is that Bobby Vega on bass and Greg Elmore on drums?

  • This sure brings back precious memories. Speedway or Mark's Meadows? I remember a couple at the latter.

I could walk there, just followed the sound. (8/24/09 Happy Birthday John! )
