SHU(=Keep)-one tries to perform exactly as prescribed
HA(=Break or Overide)-one builds upon what one has learned, though in line with the spirit of the kata
RI(=Departure)-While preserving what was contained in the original, one departs from there on one`s own journey in life..... What is Judo after all? It`s "sincerity" says a sage back in early 1700.

Absolutely amazing! I'm 1st Dan and never seen that kata. It's shame that most of the kata's in today's judo is forgotten and not practice. However, Dan grades consist kata but unfortunately not practiced very often or hardly at all. Competition judo destroyed true values of "gentle way". Fact
