@zofo666 Yep, I had a Deep Purple poster way back in the early 70's and his hair was receeding at both sides in that picture. All of a sudden he had this massive thatch of black hair that he's kept to this day. He's had some great wigs,lol, and for me he's always been the No.1 Rock guitarist!

Not that it's important but Ritchie been wearing wigs since 77 (the first tour i seen him on),that,s a FACT(Cozy powel used to rip the piss out of him when he got his first).!Quite a few "rock stars" do,i guess its keeping up your appearence for the fans and confidence on stage maybe.

But we digress,the man is an amazing guitar player and should be knighted for services to the guitar!!

@rainbowastur Ronnie was the best Rainbow singer no question but Dougie is pretty damn good as well and much better than both Greame Bonnet and Joe Lynn Turner.

trust me ritchie blackmore doesnt wear a wig hes only a year older than brian may r u saying he wears a wig and since when has a wig had the ability to turn grey check out more recent blackmore videos and u will see his hairs gone grey and what about jimmy page does he wear a full grey wig if u look after your hair u shouldnt be a fat bald idiot any way blackmore rules and kicks the ass of all these pop gaga people nowadays music is crap all rappers and pop rejects blackmore god compared 2 them
