  • is there any way to tell if you have the narrow or wide ribbon type?

  • @nhj4416 Only by opening the unit and looking at the ribbon from the screen.

  • I just replaced my screen tonight after shattering mine while falling off my bike and your video saved the day. The only issue I have now is, the adhesive that held the screen on had to be completely peeled off because was so much shattered plastic was stuck in it, so now the new screen just rests on the phone and can easily be peeled back. Any suggestions for what to use that is safe for the phone and won't cause the new screen to rest uneven?

  • @MrPlaydead666 Use double sided tape that will hold it. Get the 3M good stuff.

  • Any chance you guys could do a HTC Mozart screen teardown/replacement video?

It would be appreciated big time.

    Subscribed.

  • @kimlo91 We will look into doing a video for that model.

  • Easy fix, Great video, I recommend this video, and replacement kit for any non-insured evo users.

  • Awesome video ---- 2 thumbs up ---- the moto Droid 1 is a nightmare compared to this phone,,,, this is an easy fix in my opinion, I'd give it a 2 out of 5 in difficulty coma red to other phones

  • Is it difficult to put everything back together or?

  • @pdaparts Well, it seems you got a wet one at least. =P

  • Tnx;)

  • does the hardware version have anything to do with the replacement screen you buy??
