@thirty6chambers I have to wonder if TheGraviationist has actually listened to all the Wilco albums. How one can listen to YHF and AM and Wilco and say the band hasn't changed/evolved much is beyond me...
@TheGravitationist What? AM and their newer stuff starting from YFH has been dramatically different. There's a complete absence of southern/bluegrass to it, like what you hear in all the songs from AM.
I just really like how they're able to come up with such endearing melodies, even this early in their development. Lyrically, they're really something.
Really? I think they've been consistent in overall quality and have even imporved in many aspects over the years. I know it's subjective, but it just seems strange to me for someone to like A.M., yet hate the rest. I was listening to their 2009 album recently, and I noticed their music hasn't changed THAT drastically since their early days.
