I didn't feel like talking about hyphens today after all. A family friend died, so I talked about that. Language: wop-wops is a NZ word. I think it's the same as boondocks in America and inaka in Japan. Also according to my dictionary in America people usually call the box for dead people a casket.
i'm sincerely sorry to hear about Bryce. I appreciate what you're doing, you know what important is and giving, so lots of people would help you whenever and wherever. thank you again. and God bless all.
i'm always praying for you and your friends' happiness ever. peace and smile
In my background in large city in American midwest, we would use casket seemed less creepy than coffin. We grew up with friendlier version of "boondocks" "boonies", and later "Bum F*ck Egypt" "BFE" "Where Christ lost his shoes" all indicated far off the path rural areas. Sorry for your death and not being able to be close for family and friends. Bryce sounds like a great guy and positive to the end is inspiring.
I'm sorry to hear about Bryce. :( You're right about technology; long ago, when a person moved away, it was almost like a death, because it would be difficult or impossible to keep in touch. Now we can communicate very quickly, even across long distances, which is a comfort.
If you feel like taking a day off from tdes, I'm sure everyone will understand!
