  • God Bless our British Orthodox brothers!

  • You must use 2 Timothy 3:10-17 for doctrinal decisions, not the so called 'Oral Tradition' that 'Orthodox' Christians try and throw at me. Them using Oral Tradition would be like me wanting to use Oral Torah!

  • @xlamentx Prove it to me with Scripture! All we read about in Scripture is adult Christians being Baptized, not infants, nor children! Show me a direct passage (chapter, verse and book) where it says children were baptized. Scripture says that men and women were Baptized, not children! Just like nowhere in Scripture do we read that woman were exempt from Ministry. Chloe taught Appolo, Junia was an Apostle, Phoebe was a Deacon, Prisca (Priscilla in Acts) was a Pastor.

  • @Menechem If you truly believe that Baptism is not for children, then you are going against what the Lord and his Apostles taught and believed, and you deny the power of God and His grace given unto all men. There is no "age of accountability" for one to be baptized at. You will not find any verses like that in the Bible to base your false and anti-Christian beliefs. And do not call yourself an "Orthodox Christian" when your beliefs are anything but! "...he and ALL his FAMILY were baptized."

  • @Menechem Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children."

  • Baptism, you do realize is not meant for children, and you go against the Word of God if you believe otherwise. Baptism is for adults/young adults. I testify not only as a Jewish Christian who is Born Again, but a truly Orthodox Christian. When I say Orthodox, I mean true to God's word not man made Traditions such as cannibolism found in your church, and the Roman church.Furthermore I support women in Ministry,as we read in Scripture,Junia was a female Apostle,Phoebe a deacon,Priscilla a Pastor.

  • Father Bless!

Thank you for this wonderful teaching on the glorious Mystery of Baptism.
