  • He's giving you the wisdom of his years, dipshits - take heed, he's lived it!

  • the MC5 beat the shit out of cream before the played the grande ballroom. they never copied the beatles, the mc5 revolution is so much different than anything the beatles did, and cream had no part haha

  • When multiple players in your band die unexpectedly (Rob age 46- Fred age 45).Immediately sieze control and rights to everything (weather you actually created it or not)and make sure you keep the other surviving band members royalties.

Most important of all....MAKE SURE the spouses of your dead bandmates GET NOTHING.

You must step on those that came up with you.Maybe its just a Wayne Kramer thing.

  • The fact that Wayne Kramer is doing an interview on youtube with the modern computer behind him says a lot about our society. From the 1960s counter culture to todays pop media meltdown .

  • Wayne is so real. So clear headed w/ no affectation whatsoever. LOVE HIM.

  • Its true, what he says. It's all fun and games the first few years, then money becomes a problem, jealousy, people get pissed they aren't being recognized for their efforts, and bands break up. It's a sad thing.

  • I dont know what you guys are talking about, but thats Wayne Fuckin Kramer, of one of the greatest bands of the time. I saw them live many times at the Grande, i also saw him in a bar in Lincoln Park in the late 70s, he kick ass that night too, he played mostly jazz.....

  • @opinionsSUCK WK played the DNC when he was 20. When he was 21 his band created a musical masterpiece. I suggest we circle back in 2 years, junior, and see what you have done. Maybe you'll then you'll be wise enough to shut up and listen to what the man has to say.

  • @opinionsSUCK Yeah, I have a lot to do... family, kids, career... I take the occasional break to enjoy the treasure trove of great music that is available on here.

When I see somebody knocking the wisdom of experience of a man with the pedigree of Wayne Kramer, it just makes me laugh. Sorry to mock your being played on college radio and having been signed to Aliterative testicles records or whatever.

  • @kieser78

I am 19 and in college...? I don't think I've lived enough of a life to sellout yet, but I do believe this is where you're argument originated with the whole "ugliness kicking in due to money and fame."

You are 39. Do you have anything better to do than complain with your backwards ass logic on the internet? I'd say grow a pair, but the steroids probably hinder that process.

  • @opinionsSUCK oooooh...COLLEGE radio!

  • yup, Brother Wayne Kramer speaking the truth, yet again. This is great advice especially if you are just starting a band, no matter what age you are!
