Mark "the terminator" doesn't seem to be all that savvy in terms of hand-to-hand combat. Granted, he was caught off guard, but still, is it possible that exposure to humans may have weakened his terminating abilities. Just imagine what would have happened if the building had burned down, twenty years after it's completion; Mark would have been forced to adapt to his environment (again), furthering his growth as a terminator and AI.

Very good observation. Bet hey, it's tv- a reality where robots with target analyzers built into their vision can shoot at the main character 8 times but somehow miss, and people can get the hell beat out of them but only end up with an attractively placed minor lip cut and a bruise on the cheek :)
