@brnleague99 Ehh that could have been a good match I guess. He just didn't have it anymore in WWF and Vince knew it. He has alot of momentum going in late 91, early 92. However after Wrestlemania, he started to piss alot of people off in the back. It was probably for the best.

@Antrizzle2009 WCW used Flair as cannon fodder to Hogan's ego. He would have done better in WWF, I think. At least if he had stayed just a couple of more years. Can you say Ric Flair vs. Owen Hart?

Who's the third play by play guy here with Vince and Bobby? Whoever he is, he's completely useless...

Was this match before or after Perfect fought Bret Hart? It seems the fans were starting to come around for Mr Perfect. He was the best!

Thing is with Mr Perfect as greats as an athlete he was. He was never really over as a face. Thats why he looks a bit fazed because all the fans arnt on his side 100% the crowd is very 50/50 like an old NWA crowd showing both wrestlers mutual admiration. A rarity by the bias know nothing WWF wrestling fan standards. For the match id go 4/5

The truth is, it was probably for the best that Flair left WWF. As good as he was in WWF, Flair was the MAN in WCW and was always more comfortable there. His wrestling style, his size, his style, etc... all fit WCW more naturally than WWF. Plus Vince realized that maybe Flair didn't fit in there as well as he expected so it made more sense on both sides for Flair to walk. He left on good terms tho. Flair called it the most fun18 months of his career outside of the days with the horsemen.

it was 94 when flair lost to hogan this was late 92 because flair was going back to wcw where he maid his leagond in the south east it was mid altantic before turner bought the company and changed the name. 94 bischoff was pusing hogan and did not want flair in the title picture. as well as sting got left out sad that bischoff want hogan and savage vince's talent not the talant he had in the company already.

Yeah, 93 wasn't a good year for the WWF. They should have had SAVAGE win RR 93' to face Hart in the main event at MW IX, and have this match (Perfect/Flair) there too.
Perfect had so much momentum coming out of this match that he should have challenged Yokozuna for the WWF title during the summer.

It's a ahame that either man had to leave the WWF. Flair should have stuck around and had a heel stable with Yokozuna and could have recaptured the WWF World title. Had to love Bobby Heenan on color commentator; he was what being a color commentator is supposed to be, not that joke Jerry Lawler. Lawler can't touch Heenan. Lawler isn't even good anymore.
