Ersatz

Like its name the video is an inferior substitute for the unconscious. Automatism was incorporated in its creation, but as Freud stated about surrealist artists, this piece has also been shaped by ego. Ersatz is a non sequitur dreamscape made up of idiosyncratic juxtapositions, contrasts, and archetypes. The music was provided by John Patrus who improvised on his guitar while watching the video.
