riff!

I'm betting Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire liked this routine!
It was choreographed by Alex Romero.
Trivia: Russ was Elvis' choreographer for 'Jailhouse Rock'. Romero was in charge of the overall choreography . Neither was credited -- sheesh!
Remember the cell block scene? See: gj0Rz-uP4Mk
Why doesn't YT allow linx?

Russ Tamblyn had talent and charisma. Make sure you see his performances in West Side story, Tom Thumb, and The Wonderful World of the Brother's Grimm etc.

I love the fact that he's always smiling when he does those sort of things... he always looks so incredibly happy :D

Excellent and underrated actor and dancer

Is there a reason why Russ Tamblyn was so underrated as a performer? I love his athletic, acrobatic dancing. It's graceful, strong, masculine, and FUN. The guy could jump higher than anyone.
Thank you for uploading this great dancing scene!

@kittekat071 Bonnie's sweet...sent me a New Year card a couple of years back. Tell her hi from me!
The movie is The fastest gun Alive with Glenn Ford. The scene with Russ Tamblyn is the only dance scene. Otherwise it's a western, something like High Noon about a "fast gun" who doesn't want to use his gun anymore. It's a very good movie as these kind of westerns go. And it's actually available to see as a download on Amazon.
