  • Filmed from the backrow dude, sorry BASSOON ROCKS, I HAD 2 there, I said it. Bass Trombonist/Closet Bassoonist.

    Stupid Faggot...

German for Bassoon, or bundle o' sticks

  • Just so you all know, I am a band director and I love that you guys are in band and going at it discussing the art! You guys rock! I have a master's and went to UNT, KEEP PLAYING AND BLOW! Yes, everybody is important, except Violas...jk. I'll post a vid of me rehearsing this with another band while getting my undergrad. The band was full of staged mistakes I had to go and hunt out, French Horns in the wrong key, one measure off, etc.. brutal fun.

  • Im a junior trumpet player and also a drummajor... For the cam to be on the director the whole time, he could have put more feeling into his conducting. And this is the song my band is playing for the spring and i know there are accents all over this song, but i didnt hear them:-(

    ._.

... I was talking about the glisses. I still love playing glisses, and I'm a junior now.

I just like glisses in general. That's what I was talking about.

Then I also stated that I was first part. Because I like the first part glisses the best.

You know what, it's not even worth talking to you about. You're dumb.

I LIKE GLISSES. I PLAYED THE FIRST PART. = sum of my comment FROM 2 YEARS AGO. Kay?

  • @iTrombonist your previous comment made no sense if you werent talking about the glisses. there was no time and no slurs that were in the first trombone part and not 2nd and 3rd

  • @q1a2z3q4a5z6

:48 is where the glisses start, idiot. There's a couple of them after that. Hurr durr.

    That's what I was talking about. >.>

You obviously shouldn't be trying to reply to a comment if YOU don't know the difference between a slur and a gliss.

I'm pretty damn sure I do know. Thanks for trying.

  • @iTrombonist obviously you don't deserve first trombone if you cant tell the difference between a slur and a gliss

  • @JohnPattonLord1 Please ask him.

  • @ButterKnifeRampage i can ask Holsinger for you if you want. i see and talk to him and his wife on a daily basis

  • Haha! Yes! xD

  • Haha my friend Kirstin played that part. Never got old when our band director yelled, "BLOW HARDER!"

  • It was a good time, and my stupid wind friends still come to the percussion section to hit the temple blocks because it was the only part they remembered. Haha you just have to have quick hands and it is not so hard. And did it ever occur to you that he writes the first half of the song with eighth rests and the second half with tied eighth notes? I forgot to ask him why he did that.
