Another oldie from the VHS archive.
Before the first operational VTOL aeroplane, the Harrier, came the P.1127.
This video covers a later development of the P.1127 and the final predecessor to the Harrier, the Kestrel.

  • thankyou for posting this!...i am a harrier freak ...i saw usmc av-8a live at oshkosh flyin late 1970s...then falklands 1982 war on cnn...then a few years ago the computer game wings over europe has raf harrier gr3...and I crashed a lot but its a joy toy to fly!

  • It is nice see that the Kestrel Evaluation Sqadron is not forgotton but this Video does not show the work that was done at outside sites such has Bircham Newton, North Pickering, and Stamford Ranges
