We must remember the government of Japan is HIDING the truth from the people there, so most do not know. they will not show it on TV. They will not show the Cove movie. When Japanese citizens learn the truth, they become very angry too, but until then the corrupt government treats poor dolphins as a PEST. very bad. :-(

There are some bad men in Taiji doing this, but Japanese people are not bad. Some are now trying to stop this and raise awareness and this is very good!

Humane... right, because stabbing a living creature with a knife on a stick is COMPLETELY humane. I find myself getting more and more obsessed with the stories of these beautiful creatures and how their lives are tragically cut short--I don't want to stand by and watch... I just wish I could help by doing MORE than just telling everyone about this. This slaughter needs to stop.

While there are some Japanese activists, realistically a large portion of the Japanese population is aware of and supports this practice. As long as dolphin and porpoise meat is popular among Japanese consumers, the practice will continue.

For example, Iceland canceled their whaling quotas - mainly because Icelanders no longer feel good about buying or eating whale meat. There is no real market for whale meat in Iceland anymore -- because the citizens decided to start doing the right thing.

People have to stop eating dolphins. These men only catch them because there is a demand. I never ate dolphin and I don't feel like I have missed something in my life. So it should not be too hard.

This new killing methode is even worst than the one we saw in "The Cove". And they added a kind of tent on top of the place where the killings are done. I really hate these fishermen and I wish more people were aware of the situation so we could protest together. It, just horrible, stop killing these poor dolphins or find a way to kill them WITHOUT PAIN. Fishermen said that their new killing technique was killing the dolphin instantly.
